Attendance Policy

Registered students are required to attend all sessions of the class and sign in each day. 1 absence is allowed per student.

In cases where unavoidable conflicts arise students may substitute the following exercise for additional absences beyond the first:

Please write a 1-page "biography" on an HST-originated company in exchange for each missed session beyond the 1st. This should include:

- who are the inventors/founding scientists (with a quick interview/discussion/phone call/email exchange)

- who are the funders? How much has been invested?

- who is key management?

- what is the technology/science?

- what are the company goals?

- what is the current state/stage of the company? How many people work there now?

- i.e. a brief "biography" of the company

This can be a raw startup or a later stage company of any kind as long as the IP originated with HST.
