HST 590 "small group dinners"

 

(Boldly copying Rick Mitchell's Frontier lunches, with a twist...)

 

Most of our speakers have agreed to stay for dinner after class with a small group of students in E25-202. In the first class we will send around a sign up sheet for up to 8 students per dinner. Registered students will have first choice, then other HST students from any program are welcome as well. If you signup there are 2 expectations:

 

1) You are required to attend, and if you cannot, you MUST find a substitute as a number of our speakers are flying in from out of town solely to teach the class and join you for dinner.

 

2) The group of students assigned to each dinner will be expected to generate a list of questions (3 questions is fine) for the speaker in advance. This list should be emailed to Jeff Behrens the night before the class and can be used both during the class session Q&A and at the dinner. If you find yourselves stuck Jeff is happy to help with this via email (jeff@adviza.com) This may require reading about the person's background and topic and brainstorming a bit.
